British Championships
Well done to those who took part, it was a long journey and hopefully you enjoyed the day.
Kirk Cregg, John Cregg and Richard Thomas were selected to represent Wales in the junior and senior teams. The junior team of which Kirk represented managed to win the gold.
The senior team fought well to reach the final but unfortunately lost out to some bad luck with John being carried off after a low kick to the knee by his opponent. John was totally devastated as he needed to win his fight for the team to win the final, but silver is better than nothing.
Kirk also fought well in his individual fights narrowly missing out on gold by 1 point, its amazing what the promise of an early Christmas present can achieve. Bernie and Abby both managed bronze medals in their respective divisions. Lauren, Karlie and Vicky performed really well in the Black Belt tag teams destroying the opposition to take gold. Due to Johns injury he was unable to join Carl Betty and Mathew Jackson to compete in the tag team event so Richard Thomas took his place, the boys did really well and took the Gold.
Welsh Closed Championships
This event will be held on Sunady 30th November 2008 at NIAC Centre, University of Wales, Cyncoed.

Competitors - (Adults & Children) £10.00 for 1 event, £15 for 2 or more events.
Spectators - Adults £6.00 Children (Under 12) £3.00
Tag Teams to be entered on the day, team of 3 £15.00
