THE GRANDMASTER RETURNS IN 2012

Grandmaster C.K.Choi 9th Dan will be returning to the UK in February/March 2012 through popular demand to conduct seminars across the UK and Northern Ireland. Don't miss this chance to train with one of Tae kwon do's original pioneers and the 1st ever Tae kwon do champion... All seminars will be one and a half hours in duration. The first for yellow/green/blue and red belts and the second for all black belts.

Children In Need

Congratulations to all those that took part in the sponsered kickathon in aid of childrens charities you did yourselves proud by raising over £700, an extra well done to Lewis Barton who smashed his previous record with just over 6000 kicks in an hour - thank you to all club members who took part and raised this fantastic sum of money!

Welsh Closed

Newport School of Tae Kwon-Do are the Champions of the 2011 Welsh Closed Tournament

The 2011 Welsh Closed Championships were held in Newport Centre on Sunday. With clubs being represented from all over Wales, Master Philip Burley (6th Degree Black Belt) and his Newport School were ready to prove their worth on home soil. The club's performance was outstanding and resulted in the Newport club taking home the BIGGEST haul of trophies, medals and Welsh Champion Titles.
